Crystal Island (UK) is a standout indie film by Ross Silcocks, now confirmed to have won "Best Film Essay" at Climax Madrid 2024 and Faro Portugal 2025 alongside Best Dance Film and Best Soundtrack at Lonely Wolf 2023. Its Thailand-shot, zero-budget production and nature-centric narrative have earned it critical and festival acclaim, marking Ross as a rising cinematic voice for nature.
